MAY 10, 2016 at 3:00PM The Association of State Wetland Managers (ASWM) is pleased to invite you to attend the next webinar in our popular Improving Wetland Restoration Success webinar series on “Establishing Reference Conditions for Performance Standards & Long Term Monitoring Results: Soils, Hydrology and Vegetation.” This webinar will include three presentations. Dr. Robert Brooks (Riparia, Pennsylvania State University) will provide a presentation on “Using Reference Wetlands for Restoration and Mitigation Design.” Dr. W. Lee Daniels (Virginia Tech) will provide a presentation on “Development of Performance Standards for Wetland Soil Reconstruction.” And Dr. Eric Stein (Southern California Coastal Water Research Project) will provide a presentation on “Improving Mitigation Success through Use of Performance Curves (Trajectories) and Tiered Performance Standards.” The webinar is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 10th at 3:00 p.m. (EST). Highlights: The mean C value is the most sensitive variable of the Floristic Quality Index. Mean C lacked a significant response when graminoids were selectively removed. Mean C based on all taxa and dominant taxa only were not significantly different.Site ranks based on dominant species were different from those based on all species.
